There are a large number of organisations offering training in filmmaking and related areas in Ireland. Apart from courses in full time education, some organisations offer professional, vocational training for freelance technicians and production crew. There are also a number of courses aimed at producers, directors and scriptwriters in association with the guilds and other organisations in Ireland.
