Actors Masterclass with Hugo Weaving in Association with Bow Street Academy for Screen Acting

Screen Training Ireland is delighted to host an Actors Masterclass in partnership with Bow Street Academy for Screen Acting. Award-winning Australian actor Hugo Weaving who stars in director Lance Daly’s Irish Famine revenge thriller BLACK 47 will be the subject of the masterclass.

His impressive list of credits includes CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER, HACKSHAW RIDGE, LITTLE FISH opposite Cate Blanchett, THE MATRIX, V FOR VENDETTA, Peter Jackson’s THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY and THE HOBBIT TRILOGY, THE ADVENTURES OF PRICILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT and many more.

The masterclass will focus on Hugo Weaving’ vast experience as an actor working across various genres and environments; and the skills, methodology and aesthetics of screen acting. It will also look at the collaborative dynamics between the director and the actor.

Acclaimed auteur filmmaker Lance Daly, BLACK 47, KISSES, LIFES A BREEZE, THE HALO EFFECT, LAST DAYS IN DUBLIN, will facilitate the masterclass providing an enriching experience for the participating actors and an opportunity to discuss the actor/director relationship.
