Screen Training Ireland are delighted to announce Paul Jackson for Creating Showbusiness: The Entertainment Television Creation Seminar. Paul is currently Executive Producer of the ITV hit comedy drama, BENIDORM shooting its tenth series in Spain in the spring. He has also acted as Creative Consultant on China’s current number one Entertainment show LOST IN FOOD.
Creating Showbusiness: The Entertainment Television Creation Seminar kicks off on Tuesday the 24th of January. The seminar is aimed at emerging creative talent in the entertainment television sector in Ireland and will equip participants with the tools to devise cutting edge creative programming.
Participants will be immersed in an intensive seminar with highly regarded producers, commissioning editors and creatives. The mechanics and structures of Entertainment Programming will be covered in depth. Current trends and market awareness will also be key.
Leading Irish format creators Larry Bass, CEO & Founder, ShinAwil (POPSTARS, YOU’RE A STAR, THE DRAGONS DEN, MASTERCHEF IRELAND, DANCING WITH THE STARS); and TV Producer Philip Kampff, Vison Independent Productions Ltd. (THE HIT, NOEL’S HOUSE PARTY, GET WELL SOON, JOHN ANTROBUS, LEE EVANS LIVE AT WEMBLEY); will tutor on the programme. They will be joined by Gráinne McAleer, Head of Lifestyle, RTE; Máire Ní Chonláin, Commissioning Editor, TG4; Jonathan Rothery, Commissioning Editor, Music Channel 4; and Pam Relton, Media Trainer.
