Glen Southern

Glen is a freelance Digital sculptor and Certified Pixologic ZBrush Instructor. He is a Wacom Evangelist for the UK and Ireland. Recent works include sculpting for Penny Dreadful Season 2, designing and sculpting characters for the new Theme Park ride at Tayto Park (Cucuthlainn, Queen Maeve and the Hound), a Warner Bro kids feature film for Egg Post Production (Ghosthunters: On Icy Trails) and ongoing work for SKY BSkyB in the UK. Clients this year have included: The Royal Mint, ScreenSceneVFX, Lego, Mackinon and Saunders, SKY BSkyB, Youtube, Google, ITV and a number of UK, EU and US digital agencies.

He regularly works in Dublin as a Creative Lead for Egg post Production and he offers Digital Sculpting Training at his Studio in Cheshire and across the UK and Ireland.

Glen is a UK STEM Ambassador (MerseySTEM). He has a Level3 Award in Education and Training and is working towards his level 5. On a personal level is is a PADI advanced open Water diver and keen wreck diver. He is a member of the Cheshire Wildlife Trust, the RSPB, The British Arachnological Society and the British Tarantula Society. He inspires and educates children with sessions on digital sculpting, anatomy and natural history.
